One smoking pipe stem made of white ball clay with a bore hole diameter of 4/64 inches. The stem has the following maker's mark: NICHO/*LAS*/BRIS. The "N" is backwards and may be the work of an illiterate apprentice. Manufactured by William Nicholas of Bristol, ca. 1730-1776.
