Seltzer or mineral water bottle with heavy base. Semi-automatic machine made. Bottom is rounded and embossed "RYLANDS/ BARNSLEY" surrounding "4." Dan Ryland was best known for Codd bottles but patented a screw top in 1889, this bottle had a cork closure.
