Impressed David Dunderdale Castleford Pottery Co. mark along with an impressed plate maker's mark. Godden (1964:224) lists Dunderdale as beginning c.1790 - 1820). Assigned Vessel Number 108. Tag from exhibit reads: "8. Pearlware plate with green shell edge rim decoration. This vessel was probably part of the same group of damaged imported English vessels. Ca. 1824"
