Unusual jar. Foot is rounded & tooled (heavily worn); straight side up to sloping shoulders & a narrow opening but closure & neck not intact. Etched mark: tobacco pipe over "B&G MAKERS" surrounded by "MYER...NEW YORK". More research needed re use.
