One shell-edged pearlware soup plate with a black overglaze transfer printed image of "Columbia", a figure often used to represent America after the revolution, holding a laurel branch above her head and a stars-and-stripe shield. The printed pattern shows the figure standing behind an eagle and another shield with stars and stripes in the foreground and a large pyramid tomb in the background which reads "Sacred to the memory of Washington". The central pattern is encircled with a border of stars. The plate consists of twelve sherds that mend.
