One complete smoking pipe bowl rim with a round heel. The edge of the rim is finely rouletted. The interior of the bowl is blackened from smoking. The interior edges of the rim are chipped, likely from ash extraction. The base of the heel is stamped with an "Alcantara Cross" beneath the initials "BI". The mark is thought to be Dutch (Gouda) in origin by pipe maker Bastiaan Janse van Owerwesel and in production between 1685 to 1705.
