North Devon Gravel-Tempered Pan Base Sherd

Two mended base sherds from a North Devon Gravel-Tempered pan or similar flat-bottomed vessel with a brownish-green lead glaze on the interior. The paste has multiple pieces of gravel and small quartz pebble inclusions. The paste is a dull red in color with a gray core. The base has an adhered brass or iron pin on the bottom.
