One colorless leaded glass square bottle base fragment with partial embossing visible on one side of the body from a London Mustard bottle. The embossing reads "...ON" which is likely "LONDON".The base has a blowpipe pontil mark. The bottle has a light patina. The bottle shape is square in cross-section with flat or chamfered corners. This vessel consists of four fragments that mend but are not mended. London Mustard bottles held approximately 2 ounces of dry mustard and a complete example would be rather tall and narrow with a wide mouth and a short neck.
