Engine-Turned Astbury-Type Body Sherds

(1727 - 1750)

Two Astbury-Type body sherds with engine-turned wavy lines along the exterior body. The sherd has a colorless glaze on both surfaces and a thin, hard red body. The sherds are probably from a teapot or coffee pot but do not mend and may represent more than one vessel.
