One flat and fairly thick buff-bodied North Midlands/Staffordshire body or base sherd with thin red/brown combed slip lines through yellow glaze on one surface. The opposite surface is unglazed. The sherd is most likely from a dish, plate, platter, or similar flatware vessel. The base has slight charring in one area.
