One almost complete smoking pipe bowl rim with a round heel. The edge of the rim is finely rouletted. The interior is slightly grayed from smoking. The base of the heel is stamped with an "Alcantara Cross" beneath the initials "BI". The mark is thought to be Dutch (Gouda) in origin by pipe maker Bastiaan Janse van Owerwesel and in production between 1685 to 1705.
