Stamped "Balance" Smoking Pipe Heel and Bowl

One smoking pipe bowl fragment with a partial tall, round heel. The heel is marked on either side with "Dutch quality control" marks. The base of the heel is stamped with a design depicting two buckets balanced side by side beneath a crown. The mark is thought to be Dutch in origin and titled "Stylized Dutch Milkmaid" or "Balance."
