Lead Glazed Redware Body Sherd

(18th to Mid-19th Century)

One redware body sherd with a dark reddish-brown lead glaze on the interior. The exterior appears unglazed but has one small spot of dripped glaze. The flat profile and unglazed reverse side suggest that it may have served as a plate, platter, or other broad, flatware vessel.
