Three mending ceramic body and rim sherds from a large Hessian crucible. The crucible is likely a crude stoneware or possibly a coarse earthenware with a light gray paste. The crucible is slightly stained but may not have been used. The vessel likely had a triangular-mouth although the rim is incomplete.
