Stoneware Crucible

One base and body sherd from a small Hessian ceramic crucible. The crucible is likely made of a crude stoneware with a coarse paste. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. The rim may have been triangular-shaped but the top portion of the vessel is missing. The crucible appears unused.
