RT Smoking Pipe Stem and Bowl Rim

(1698 - 1713)

One mended white ball clay smoking pipe stem and bowl. The bowl has a plain rim and a worn circular cartouche on the right side that reads "E/V...." which possibly is Evans. The back of the bowl is stamped with the initials "RT." The makers may possibly be from Isaac Evans and Robert Tippet II and manufactured in Bristol. The interior of the bowl is blackened from smoking damage. The pipe consists of four mended/glued fragments and one fragment that mends but is not mended to the pipe.
