One large redware rim sherd from a large hollowware vessel. The sherd has a rough profile and a fairly coarse body. The edge of the rim has either a thin coating of orange or red colored slip or is darkened red from firing. The interior has a very poor quality brown lead glaze which appears slightly mottled. The exterior is unglazed. Beneath the exterior rim, there is a cordoned/molded ridge. The sherd is likely from a large hollowware vessel like wide-mouthed jar.
