Fluted Smoking Pipe Stem and Bowl

(Late Eighteenth to Early Nineteenth Century)

One white ball clay smoking pipe bowl fragment with a partial stem. The bowl has a fluted body and appears to be a late 18th to early 19th-century form. The base of the bowl appears to possibly have a small spur or a manufacturing defect.
