Tin-Glazed Earthenware Body Sherd

(1600 - 1800)

One relatively thick burned buff-bodied tin glazed earthenware body sherd. One surface has a blackened tin glaze which appears gray from the burnt discoloration. The opposite surface has a white glaze. Possibly from a sherd from a cooking vessel or a double glazed tile.
