Coarse Earthenware Cookpot Foot

(17th Century)

One foot sherd from a white/buff-bodied coarse earthenware cookpot or pipkin. The sherd had a been broken off where it would have attached to the body. There is a thin pink slip coating the exterior. The fragment is unglazed, but the rest of the body may have had a lead glaze.
