Tin-Glazed Earthenware Base Sherd

One base sherd from a buff-bodied tin-glazed earthenware vessel, most likely from a straight-sided hollowware vessel. The edge of the base extends out from the exterior of the body wall and flares upward slightly. The sherd is glazed on the interior, the exterior and the flared lip that extends from the base. The body is burnt and discolored. The base is unglazed, has worn away or has spalled off from the body. Alternately, the sherd could be a fragment from a lid, although this is less likely.
