CH Smoking Pipe Bowl Rim

(1700 - 1740)

One thin-walled white ball clay smoking pipe bowl fragment with a plain rim. Stamped high on the center of the bowl are the initials "CH." The marked area would have faced the smoker. The maker may have been Charles Hickes, a pipe manufacturer from Bristol, England, who manufactured pipes between 1700 and 1740.
