The interior surface is decorated with an underglaze painted floral motif featuring single and clusters of red/orange and blue flowers with brown stems and green leaves scattered around the face of the bowl. There is a blue painter's mark on the exterior surface of the base. This is an example of pearlware design #43. Additional base, body, and rim fragments featuring this design are present. The base diameter is approximately 7.5 cm.
