Underglaze Painted Pearlware Saucer

(ca. 1775 - ca. 1810)

One mended pearlware saucer consisting of rim, body, base, and footring sherds with an underglaze painted design. A cobalt blue and white dotted band runs along the interior rim and there are blue and white flowers around the face. This is an example of pearlware design #89. Additional base, body, and rim fragments featuring this design are present. The base diameter is approximately 9 cm., the rim diameter is 14 cm. and the height is 3.5 cm.
