One partially mended gray bodied stoneware jug comprised of base and body sherds. The body is very crude and contains dark gray inclusions. There is a dark brown slip (varied in color) on the exterior surface, which uniformly covers the the upper part of the vessel but has dripped down to the base. Some of the maker's fingerprints are visible on the exterior surface. The interior surface is unglazed and reddish brown in color, likely from underfiring. Possibly burnt. The base diameter is approximately 14 cm.
