Painted Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug Body Sherd

One mended gray bodied salt glazed stoneware body sherd, which is part of a large jug. There are traces of a cobalt (blue) painted design underneath a glaze on the exterior of sherd 217.4. The glaze is missing from several areas on the exterior surface. The interior is unglazed and varies in color from gray to red, possibly due to the adherence of rust.
