One fragment of a smoking pipe bowl with a rouletted rim and heel. There is a crowned HG maker's mark stamped onto the base of the heel, suggesting that this pipe was manufactured by Hendrik Gerdes, a 17th-century Dutch pipe maker. Made of white ball clay. The interior surface of the bowl is slightly blackened. The bore hole diameter is 7/64 inches.
