Aqua beer or soda water bottle embossed with "D. L. Ormsby & Son / 423 / West 16th St NY / XX". According to New York City Directories, Dorman Leonard Ormsby and son were in operation at 423 West 16th street from 1844 to 1874 before moving uptown to 168th Street east of Amsterdam Avenue. In 1860, the city renumbered buildings on West 16th Street "moving" Ormsby's business from 255 West 16th Street to 423 West 16th Street.
