The Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the Joseph Rodman Drake Park and Enslaved People's Burial Ground on December 12, 2023. It contains two colonial-era burial grounds and commemorates the Enslaved People who were central to the history of the area and ensures that the burial grounds are preserved and protected.
