Redware Base Sherd

One redware footring sherd from a vessel's base, or possibly a rim sherd. The body is light orange in color which modulates to dark brown at the bottom. The body has specks of mica and spots of clear glaze on both surfaces. The darkened color on the bottom of the footring appears to be charring or burning from use.
