Stoneware Crucible Base Sherd

One ceramic base sherd from a small stoneware crucible. The stoneware is very crude, light gray-colored and very coarse-pasted. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. The interior is stained but it is difficult to determine whether this was from the deposition or the use of the crucible. The crucible appears possibly to be unused.
