Stoneware Crucible Base Sherd

One burned ceramic base sherd from a stoneware crucible. The stoneware is very crude, gray-colored and coarse-pasted. The crucible has a flat, rounded base. The interior has a slight residue and the exterior has a thin red-colored coating of a burned substance which appears similar to a glaze.
