Lead Glazed Redware Base Sherd

One thick-bodied brown glazed redware base sherd from a hollowware vessel. The body appears mottled or possibly agate, with both white and red clay present. There is a dark brown glaze on the interior, and splotches of a colorless glaze on the base. The presence of glaze on the base may be a manufacturing defect. There are unsmoothed turn rings on the interior base.
