Underglaze Painted Pearlware Bowl Body and Rim Sherd

(ca. 1795 - ca. 1815)

One mended pearlware bowl body and rim sherd with a polychrome design. The interior rim is decorated with an underglaze painted motif featuring two orange lines bordering a partial flower or sun, green leaves, and a hatched blue band. There is a red flower decoration around the exterior surface and a brown line along the exterior rim. This is an example of pearlware design #81. Additional base, body, and rim fragments featuring this design are present. The rim diameter is 19 cm.
