Tudor Rose Smoking Pipe Stem, Heel, and Bowl Rim

(17th Century)

One white ball clay smoking pipe stem, heel, and bowl rim with a rouletted rim and bore hole diameter of 8/64 inches. The interior surface of the bowl is blackened from use. There is a stamped Tudor Rose maker's mark on the base of the heel, which was likely used by an English pipe manufacturer living in the Netherlands during the 17th Century.
