Salt Glazed Gray/Buff Bodied Stoneware Body/Rim Sherd - Probably made in NYC

(1780 - 1850)

Very large vessel w/ large, attached, vertical loop handle. Handle top at join w/ body is colored in blue. 2 identical stamps (probably part of a row applied after handle was attached) near handle top: circular stamp w/7-petaled flower. Small kiln adhesions. Vessel Number 160. Probably made in NYC by Crolius or Remmey potters.
