White Granite Teapot

(1845 - 1851)

One nearly complete white granite teapot. The handle mends to the body but was found in a neighboring context. The maker's mark on the underside reads "PORCELAIN/OPAQUE/T.&R. BOOTE" within a decorative rectangle. The teapot is Gothic-style with an octagonal shape that tapers toward the top with molded ridges across the body and base.
